Future1 Community ("Future1," "we," "us") operates future1community.com and provides workforce-readiness, training, and career tools for students, parents, schools, and employers. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

• Account info: name, email, role (student, parent, school, employer), and password hash.
• Profile info you provide: school, grade level, interests, portfolio entries, assessment responses.
• Payment info: processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: standard server logs, device/browser, pages viewed, error reports.

How we use it

• Provide and improve the platform (training, profiles, job and project board, assessments).
• Authenticate users and protect accounts.
• Communicate about your account, scholarships, and (with consent) the newsletter.
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

Students under 18

Future1 is built for students 17 and older. Where a school or parent enrolls a younger student, we collect only what is needed to deliver the program and follow applicable school-data and parental-consent requirements. We do not sell student data and do not use it for behavioral advertising.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics) under contract, and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data by emailing privacy@future1community.com. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage, role-based access, and row-level security on our database. Report security issues to security@future1community.com. See our security policy.
