FOUNDER STORY
Future1 was built from lived experience.
I know what support can do because it changed the direction of my life.
I was born in Nigeria, spent years in a refugee camp, and came to the United States looking for stability, direction, and belonging.
There were moments when I knew hunger, homelessness, fear, and the weight of trying to move forward without knowing where support would come from.
What helped me move forward was not one program or one heroic person.
It was a network.
Teachers, coaches, friends, mentors, and community members each played a role.
Together, they gave me what no one person could provide alone.
That is why Future1 exists.
