Future1 Community Coaching

Ages 16 to 24 and grades 9 to 12

Your first career opportunity in 30 days.

We find the employers, help you write the outreach, and get you in the room. You walk out with an interview, a job shadow, a site visit, an internship, or a job offer.

If you show up and do the work and you still do not have an opportunity by day 30, your coach keeps working with you until you do.

No extra cost. No time limit.

How the 30 days work

4 weeks, 1 real opportunity

1 live session a week with Coach Gospel, and personalized coaching every other day in between. Nothing important is left for homework.

Week 1

Pick One Door

Stop exploring and choose. You pick 1 career pathway, see what it pays, and list 10 employers near you who hire for it.

Week 2

Build the Proof

You become hireable on paper. Your resume and LinkedIn profile go live, even if you have never had a job.

Week 3

Make Contact

You write the email and hit send in the room. Then you follow up, because most people do not, and that is why most people never hear back.

Week 4

Land It

Employers answer. You get ready for the conversation and walk in prepared for the questions you will actually get.

Every message goes out by day 17.

The whole program runs backwards from the promise. Sending early leaves time for a reply, a conversation, and the opportunity itself inside 30 days.

Day 17

From the U.S. Department of Labor Building Blocks Model

7 habits employers hire for

The federal government names these 7 personal effectiveness skills as the base of being ready for any job. You practice every one of them before you ever walk into an interview.

1

Getting along with people

Work well with people who are different from you.

2

Integrity

Be honest and do the right thing when nobody is checking.

3

Professionalism

Dress, talk, and act for the job you want.

4

Initiative

Start the work before anyone tells you to.

5

Dependability

Show up on time and do what you said you would do.

6

Adaptability

Handle change, rejection, and feedback without shutting down.

7

Always learning

Keep growing after the program ends, 1 credential at a time.

What you do after day 30

For CTE directors and work-based learning coordinators

Real employer contact for every student, recorded the way you report it.

Your students explore careers but rarely talk to an employer. Career Ready runs inside the study hall you already have and puts every student in front of real employers they chose.

  • 1 live session a week in study hall. No new staff and no new course
  • Every activity logged by student, with the work-based learning stage, employer, date, and hours
  • Evidence for personal learning plans and Perkins career exploration
  • An 8 week quarter or an 18 week semester
